"To everything there is a season and a time for every purpose under heaven." The reds and gold of peak foliage in this New Hampshire White Mountains image are brilliantly contrasted by an unusually heavy snowfall. This moment where two seasons collide was captured on October 8, 2001 on my drive to work.
