Fields Of Gold

Taken along the Connecticut River which divides New Hampshire from its neighbor to the west, this close up image of every home owner's nemesis shows just how beautiful "weeds" can truly be. Each spring, the fields are covered with billions of these golden yellow flowers for a few short days, transforming the lush countryside to the color of freshly churned butter.
