Sunlit

A walk through our back yard revealed the surprise of Lady Slippers, a member of the wild orchid family, hidden among the blow down. The sun filtered through the conifer canopy splashing little pockets of sunshine. It was actually the rotting Birch tree that grabbed my eye.
