Friendships

The relationship of a bee to his flower is one of the more basic workings of nature. In this image of wild lupines on a warm June afternoon, it's difficult to determine who benefits the most from this symbiotic relationship. The flower must be pollinated in order to continue it's life cycle and the bee must collect the sweet nectar so the hive can survive.
